Based on old athletic boots, the origin of sports shoes, this is a pair of shoes that we highly recommend for our wardrobe, with a dressy feel that is characteristic of BROTHER BRIDGE.
At first glance, the lace-up style may seem hard, but when you actually wear them, they have a very sharp look and a thin instep (even for high-arched feet, they look thin), giving them the impression of a dress boot. This makes them a great match with wide pants, and the design allows you to enjoy the feel of a boot while still showing off your style in an elegant way.
These boots are made using the Goodyear weave, inspired by training shoes from the 1920s to 1940s. While many old-fashioned sports shoes were made from canvas, leather was also used for sports that required durability. We call these athletic boots. The design features many lace holes, so the silhouette that can be seen from under pants is beautiful and slims the feet.
This season's theme is "elegant yet cute American casual style for adults."
The leather is from Nakamura Sennosuke, a leading Japanese leather brand that produces silver-plated suede. Thick yet flexible cowhide is the most desirable feature for boots. Traditionally, suede tends to develop a unique character when it gets dirty. This doesn't mean that the leather develops a natural look, but rather that it simply acquires a unique character. Nakamura Sennosuke's suede contains tannins, which allows the color to develop over time. The resulting color is unique to the leather and cannot be achieved through dyeing.
This CUBANO color is inspired by the Cuban sun.
It pairs well with chinos, denim, sweatpants, and other American casual styles. The black laces and sole complete the look.
