大阪を拠点に活動するバンダナ専門家のジョナサン・ルカセックが立ち上げた One Ear Brand

カスタムメイドの生地を使用した片耳バンダナは、完全に日本製で、京都の着物を作る工場で一度に 1 つずつ印刷されるため、毎回のロットでわずかに異なります。

彼らは素晴らしいエコバッグ、フェイスマスク、スカーフ、風呂敷 、ヘッドラップなどを作ります. バンダナをキャンバスに、日系アメリカ人のユリカ・チェリセ・シカイというアーティストがそれぞれの作品を描いています。

ガッキンは長い付き合いのある友人で、僕のお気に入りのタトゥーアーティストの一人でもあります。彼のアートスタイルは独特で、いつも感心しています。

今回のコラボでは「枯れた花」をテーマにすることに決めました。彼は黒と赤だけを使うスタイルなので、バンダナとの相性も抜群です。伝統的に、バンダナにはこの2色が使われてきましたからね。

ガッキンからアートワークを受け取った後、ユリカに詳細を加えてもらい、デザインを完璧に仕上げました。One Ear Brandにとって、タトゥーアーティストとのコラボは初めての試みですが、このデザインは1800年代の伝統的なバンダナとタトゥーアートの素晴らしいバランスが取れていると思います。デザインには枯れた蓮と種子が描かれています。

このデザインは限定数量のみの販売となります。

Gakkin is someone who I consider a friend. We have known each other for quite a long time. He is also one of my favorite tattoo artists. His art style is distinct and impressive. We decided on the theme of “dead flowers” for our collaboration. As he only uses black and red for his palette it works really nicely with bandannas. Traditionally these were the only colors used in bandannas. After receiving his artwork I asked Yurika to draw in the detail and we perfected the layout for this art. This being a first for One Ear Brand working with a tattoo artist, we really think this design has a great if not perfect balance of traditional 1800’s era bandannas and tattoo art. Featuring a wilted lotus and seed pods. This design will be only available in limited quantities. Thanks again to Gakkin and Yurika for making this one happen.
