"Car" Home I'll Never Be (70x70) -One Ear Brand-

Sale price¥11,000

One Ear Brand was founded by Jonathan Lukacek, a bandana expert based in Osaka.

Their one-ear bandanas, made with custom-woven fabric, are entirely made in Japan and are printed one by one at a kimono factory in Kyoto, meaning each batch is slightly different.

They make wonderful eco-bags, face masks, scarves, furoshiki, head wraps, and more. Japanese-American artist Yurika Cherise Shikai draws each piece, using the bandana as her canvas.

"Home I'll Never Be" is a design I've been contemplating for a while. While delving into the deeper meanings of bandanas, a friend discovered this amazing early 20th-century bandana, from around 1900 or 1910. We directly referenced this design but redrew all the details. Without denying our love for the road, we added an equestrian-level camper as the main point. The Chinook is probably the best camper ever conceived.

It's based on a Toyota Hilux with a half-popup roof. It's the perfect setup for solo or couple camping. The color design directly uses the original specifications from the Bell System. The name comes from the poem "On the Road." For me, it's not a cool phrase, but a way of life.
