FISHERMAN SANDAL
I created fisherman sandals, which were worn by European fishermen. They have a structure that wraps around the foot securely by weaving a thick belt into them.
The upper is made from a single piece of thick, firm leather. The shoe is made on a wooden last with ample width, and can be worn with socks.
The durable Vibram outsole ensures years of use, making these shoes a great choice for those long-lasting summers.
MATERIAL
We use leather from blue sharks produced in Kesennuma, Miyagi Prefecture, which is said to be of the highest quality in the world.
Shark leather has the beautiful natural grain that is unique to it, is highly durable, and has a soft feel. It is also scratch-resistant and water-resistant.
It is approximately 30% lighter than cowhide, overturning the image of genuine leather as being heavy.
Sharks are very active and have dense muscle fibers, making them strong and flexible. In addition, the leather is dyed with tannin tanning, making it highly water-resistant.

- Make a mark with a pen on the tip of your longest finger.
(Depending on the individual, it may be the index finger or middle finger.) - Remove your foot from the paper and measure the distance from your heel to the mark using a ruler, using the fold as a reference point.
That number is your leg length.
