MATERIAL
This is Japan's top pit tannery.
The leather produced by vegetable tanning in a pit, a process that only a few companies in Japan use, is of the highest quality. Compared to drum tanning, the leather has tighter fibers and contains more tannins, making it a durable oiled leather that ages beautifully.
