“Hin Rose”
このデザインは、1910年代から1920年代のバンダナを参考にしています。私はこのタイプを「アーバン・フローラル・バンダナ」と呼んでいます。
当時の平原地帯のバンダナに多かった華やかな模様とは大きく異なるデザインが特徴です。アートや模様の好みが、ヨーロッパ寄りのものからアメリカらしいスタイルへと移り変わっていた時代でもあります。
中央のモチーフはシンプルですが、黒と白を3対1で使うことでほどよいアクセントになっています。外側の模様には、従来のバンダナの柄ではなく、タトゥー風のバラを取り入れました。力強い線や点描のグラデーションが、さりげない遊び心を感じさせます。
昔のデザインと新しいアイデアがうまく組み合わさった、バランスの良い仕上がりです。
