These ankle-length chukka boots are designed for comfort and durability.
The design provides a firm hold while balancing ease of putting on and taking off and comfort around the ankles.
The shoe's distinctive feature is the elimination of the heel lining and the addition of a counter pocket on the outside of the upper, which has resulted in outstanding durability and improved comfort.
The combination of the comfort insole and Vibram SOLE provides the ultimate comfort.
This brown core, commonly found in USA boots from the 1940s, is made in Japan using techniques from Himeji. This is the finest oiled leather, with oil penetrating all the way to the core of the leather, leaving it firm and resilient. Compared to American oil, it is smoother, making it ideal for shoes. The brown core that emerges over time is captivating. We then oiled it to create oiled leather that changes over time. By regularly oiling, the leather will develop a soft texture and become comfortable to wear.
