1898年、Alfred Rivetts によってイーストロンドン・Leytonstone で創業したモーターサイクルレザーウェアメーカー 「RIVETTS（リベッツ）」。
創業当初は自転車の製造を手掛けておりましたが、1930年代にはモーターサイクル本体のほか、ウェアやアクセサリーの取り扱いへと事業を拡大し、1950年代には「HIGHWAYMAN」 ブランドとしてレザーウェアの製造・販売を開始いたしました。
1960年代初頭には、自身の名を冠したオリジナルレーベル 「RIVETTS」 を立ち上げ、その高いクオリティが評判を呼び、同社は英国を代表するモーターサイクルウェアブランドとして広く知られる存在となりました。
しかし、2010年のロンドンオリンピックに伴う再開発により、長年拠点とした、Leytonstone の店舗が閉店。110年以上にわたる歴史は、いったん幕を閉じることとなります。
そして2025年、約15年の時を経て、英国製モーターサイクルウェアブランド“RIVETTS LEYTONSTONE” が復活。
その新たな幕開けとともに、私たち MILLE STADION とのダブルネームによる特別なアイテムを展開いたしました。
【DESIGN】
滑らかで吸いつくような上質シープレザーを贅沢に用いたこのバイカージャケットは、ブリティッシュスタイルの伝統を忠実に継承しながらも、現代的なフィット感と佇まいへと丁寧に昇華させた一着です。
高強度で重厚な存在感を放つCLIXファスナーを採用し、フロントは逆開き仕様にすることで、着こなしに動きを与え、日常からライディングまで自然に表情を変えるデザインに仕上げています。
さらに、MILLE STADION特別仕様として内側にチェック柄をあしらうことで、英国の伝統の中に遊び心を忍ばせ、見えない部分までも計算された上質さを追求しました。クラシックを知りつつも現代の感性を大切にする大人にこそ相応しい、“品格”と“実用性”が共存するモダンバイカーズジャケットです。
