HORSE BUTT-ABOUT
There is a traditional tanning method that uses tannins extracted from plants. Leather finished solely with tannins extracted from sources like mimosa and chestnut bark is called "full vegetable-tanned leather," characterized by minimal chemical treatment. This method, which harnesses the power of nature, allows the color and luster to deepen over time, bringing out the leather's natural texture more vividly.
By deeply impregnating the fibers with oil, we enhance both suppleness and durability. This approach, valuing the individuality of each piece over uniformity, creates a unique presence unlike mass-produced items. As you use it, its character evolves, and its expression deepens—a testament to the time shared with its owner.
Particularly, leather made from the "butt" (hindquarters) of a horse, a highly dense fibrous area, finished with tannin tanning, possesses exceptional firmness. While inherently very rigid, the traditional Italian vacchetta method allows it to absorb abundant oil, achieving a core strength combined with suppleness. It elevates into a powerful material that combines ruggedness with superior quality.
With time, the color deepens, and the luster enriches. This leather possesses the allure of maturing and approaching perfection with every use.

SURE BOOTS are designed with a slightly tighter instep area to provide a better fit once the boots have been broken in.
For those with high arches, we recommend choosing a size half a size larger than your foot length. Also, because these boots are highly flexible, they will naturally conform to your heel after a few weeks of wearing them.
- Fold the A4 paper in half and make a crease.
- Place your heels firmly against the wall.
- Place your index finger on top of the fold.
- Make a mark with a pen on the tip of your longest finger.
(Depending on the individual, it may be the index finger or middle finger.) - Remove your foot from the paper and measure the distance from your heel to the mark using a ruler, using the fold as a reference point.
That number is your leg length.

Regarding exchanges
- We offer a free exchange service (domestic only) for the first exchange.
- Please contact us with your desired color and size within 7 days of receiving the product.
- For exchanges due to customer convenience from the second time onwards, the customer will be responsible for the round-trip shipping costs.

Regarding returns
1. Products that can be returned
- Unused items (tried on indoors only) for which there is no exchange size available.
